Hume Highway

SKM was part of an alliance with Abigroup Contractors appointed to work with the NSW Roads & Traffic Authority (RTA) to design and build one of the last remaining town bypasses required to achieve the full duplication of the Hume Highway.
ASB Indoor Sports Centre

The ASB Indoor Sports Centre, Wellington, New Zealand was honoured at the 2012 New Zealand Institute of Architects Awards in the Public Architecture category (Wellington Branch).
Forsyth Barr wins New Zealand Engineering Excellence Award

Forsyth Barr Stadium was honoured at the New Zealand Engineering Excellence Awards with the top award in the Building and Construction category. The judges commented that "the project has set a new benchmark for expectations of multi-purpose amenities throughout New Zealand".
FutureFlow Alliance Program

The FutureFlow Alliance, consisting of SKM, Transfield Services, Comdain Construction and Goulburn Murray Water (GM-W) has won the SMART Infrastructure Project prize at the 2012 Infrastructure Partnerships Australia National Infrastructure Awards.
Wellington Tunnels Alliance

SKM, as part of the Wellington Tunnels Alliance (WTA), won the "Best Initiative to Address a Safety Hazard" category at the New Zealand Workplace Health & Safety Awards.
SKM wins big at Asia Pacific water awards

SKM has captured two of the six categories at the 2012 International Water Association’s Asia Pacific Project Innovation Awards.
West Gate Bridge Strengthening Alliance

West Gate Bridge is one of Australia's longest and busiest bridges and a classic example of 1970s concrete infrastructure. Originally built to take 40,000 vehicles a day, it now carries 160,000 freight and commuter vehicles and forms a key transport link from the city to Melbourne's west district.
Farm dams

A tool that assists planners, agriculturalists and water authorities calculate the impact of farm dams on rivers and the reliability of their water supply to agricultural land has won the Spatially Enabling Government category in the Western Australian Spatial Excellence Awards 2012.
Maggies Gartnavel Cancer centre

OMA's Maggies Gartnavel has been awarded the 2012 Doolan prize. The project was chosen from a shortlist of 14, all winners of RIAS Awards 2012.
Desalination Plant of the Year

Sydney’s Desalination Plant has been named “Desalination Plant of the Year” at the 2011 Global Water Awards in Berlin.
East Taupo bridge wins steel award

The SH1 East Taupo Arterial (ETA) Waikato River Bridge in New Zealand has taken out the Steel Construction New Zealand Awards for Excellence in Steel Construction 2011.
West Gate Bridge strengthening project

New Stobhill Hospital, Glasgow

The New Stobhill Hospital in Glasgow has won the Prime Minister’s Better Public Building Award in the Major Project category of the British Construction Industry Awards after beating 22 shortlisted projects.
