Measuring Change

SKM has strong skills in the types of sampling, measurement, weighting and expansion processes needed to monitor change in any behaviour change projects.

Our survey design team has extensive experience in all aspects of the survey process including:

  • Preliminary planning
  • Sampling
  • Selection of the survey instrument
  • Selection of the survey method
  • Piloting
  • Carrying out the survey
  • Data coding
  • Data weighting and expansion

Using rigorous sampling methods we find that statistical validity can be increased and money saved by choosing the correct sampling sizes to address the project in hand.

SKM’s Liz Ampt is the co-author of a widely-used university text on survey methods.

We believe in the importance of independent measurement and it is our usual practice to measurement and implementation projects separate.
