At SKM, we’re committed to having a positive and enduring impact in all that we do. Our goal is to use our skills to make a difference to people’s lives and that is reflected in our corporate values and ethics. This commitment extends beyond the work we do for clients, and into our support for a number of programs outside our business.
As we’ve grown, so has our sense of social and environmental responsibility. SKM is involved in a range of programs that have a positive impact on developing communities, underprivileged communities and the environment. We’ve developed a range of initiatives designed to apply our knowledge to improving the lives of others, including the Beacon Foundation, Something Concrete Program and more.
Additionally, we’re a big supporter of Engineers Without Borders (EWB). Many of our people have been heavily involved in overseas development work through the EWB program. We have a number of social awareness committees, including a graduate Community Committee that supports local efforts in some of our offices.
