SKM Colin Buchanan is supporting Modelling World 2012, the 7th annual conference and exhibition now a key event in the transport modelling industry calendar. This year’s event, to be held on 11-12 July at the Kia Oval London, is particularly relevant to the strategic transport industry as the theme has been expanded to include the placemaking debate.
In addition to sponsoring the conference, SKM Colin Buchanan’s Simon Babes has collaborated with Wagstaffs Design, a 3D visualisation company, to co-present the companies’ collaboration to produce high-resolution 3D video clips to support the business case for capital investment. In addition to describing the work undertaken during the conference an exhibition stand will show the 3D movies created for Bond Street station and Dockland’s Light Rail, two projects which clearly demonstrate our ability to support clients throughout the transport modelling process: from data collection, urban design & masterplanning, transport modelling to 3D visualisation.
