Sinclair Knight Merz (SKM) has been invited to participate in Australia’s premier event for the renewable energy and energy efficiency industries, Clean Energy Week 2012 in Sydney, 25-27 July. The Clean Energy Council has assembled an impressive line-up of national and international speakers. Ross Gawler, SKM Principal Consultant will present during the Future Grid session on day two, discussing the concept of ‘Green Grid’, the source of its potential economic value, and how this may lead to a regulated solution and deliver net benefits to consumers of electricity.
Rohan Zauner, SKM Principal Consultant, will present in the Co-gen/Tri-gen session on day three, discussing the places, timings and sizings for which cogen should be viable in Australia, and how it may fare under various carbon prices – including if the carbon price is revoked.
“SKM provides strategic consulting, engineering and project delivery solutions throughout the lifecycle of renewable energy developments. Clean Energy Week is a valuable opportunity to talk with industry and our clients - developers, constructors, operators and investors – about technical innovation and the future of Australia’s energy mix”, said David Pollington, SKM Renewables Team Leader.
