Road congestion is a problem impacting on all major urban centres across the globe. In a bid to address this issue in Melbourne, the Victorian Government (through Sir Rod Eddington) has released the long awaited East West Link Needs Assessment Study.
The Report discusses road congestion and other transport infrastructure issues in great detail and provides a range of innovative options to improve links between Melbourne's eastern and western suburbs.
Sinclair Knight Merz and its partners played a key role in the delivery of this groundbreaking study including the Environment & Heritage; and Transport Planning and Costing reports.
