Sinclair Knight Merz has been engaged by BHP Billiton Iron Ore to convert environmental and spatial data into well-structured and formatted information for sites such as Nelson Point and Finucane Island at Port Hedland, Goldsworthy, Shay gap, Yarrie and more recently HBI.
The information is now beeing hosted in a secure web server environment by Sinclair Knight Merz.
A customised web browser interface has also been developed to allow controlled access to the information for a wide range of users in the various business units in BHP Billiton.
