Following the CAAC Expert Panel review and acceptance of SKM’s Second Runway Feasibility Report, SKM has been commissioned to complete the Airport Master Plan for Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport. The work is to comply with CAAC Regulation 96 and will guide development at the airport for both the short term (10 years) and long-term (30 years).
The preparation of the airport master plan included:

passenger terminal facilities planning;

air cargo facilities planning;

aircraft maintenance facilities planning;

landside commercial facilities planning;

airport utilities planning;

land use planning;

other associated functional facilities planning; and

ground access planning.
