SKM (in a joint venture with Maunsell Australia) provided the design and tender documentation for the $1.4 billion 72 km dual track rail infrastructure linking Perth’s CBD to the south coast township of Mandurah.
The project effectively doubled Perth’s passenger urban rail network and included rail track within the median of an existing freeway. At the time of conception, the rail link was the largest public transport infrastructure project ever undertaken in Western Australia.
