Sinclair Knight Merz has been engaged to design and document a 71,000m2 (2100 car parking spaces) extension to the existing Long Term Carpark for Sydney Airport Corporation Limited (SACL).
The carpark extension is located adjacent to existing navigational aids which were required to be taken into consideration in the design.
The Project involved the preparation of a Development Application and a Reference Environmental Factors Report which included a traffic study for the development, detailed design and tender documentation.
The detailed design and tender documentation included civil works, earthworks, carpark and access road pavements, electrical (including high voltage), sewerage, water supply, CCTV, stormwater drainage and communications.
