SKM is part of an alliance team delivering the A$450 million Kingsgrove to Revesby Quadruplication Project.
Comprising of two additional tracks (each 6.5 km long) between Kingsgrove and Revesby and associated bridge and station works on the Sydney rail network, the additional tracks will allow the complete physical separation of local and express services operating on the East Hills Line.
The project is part of the NSW’s Government’s $1.8 billion Rail Clearways Program, designed to improve the reliability of existing services and enable the frequency of services to be increased.
SKM was engaged to prepare the environmental assessment for the Project and conduct community consultation in Sydney's south west. Subject to environmental consent, construction of the project is expected to start in 2008 with completion in late 2010.
