Sinclair Knight Merz (SKM) was established in Thailand in the early 1980s and has been involved in a variety of projects in the Kingdom ever since. Our office currently employs approximately 40 staff comprising Project Managers, Construction Managers, Engineers, Designers, and Drafters, as well other Technical, Commercial, Procurement and Administrative personnel.
The SKM team in Thailand specialises in Engineering Design and Management, Project Management, Construction Management, Procurement and Commercial Management, EPC and EPCM as well as Due Diligence and Feasibility Studies. We serve clients across a broad range of sectors that include Buildings and Property; Power and Heavy Industries; International Development Assistance; Transport Infrastructure encompassing Rail/Air/Roads; Mining and Metals; Oil and Gas; and Water and Environment.
SKM Thailand has successfully Project Managed many Industrial facilities such as GAC’s 10,000 sq. meter logistics facility in Amata Industrial Estate and Mermaid Safety Services’ service facility for vessel safety equipment in Pinthong Industrial Estate. Our experience in Thailand also includes playing key roles in EPCM Downstream project works for Shell and ExxonMobil, Power projects (Feasibility, Logistics, Owner’s Engineer), Commercial projects (Management from concept to completion), Environmental studies and assessments as well as in Infrastructure projects (Road and Rail).
