Sinclair Knight Merz (SKM) has been present in the Philippines for over 12 years. Located in Central Manila the business operates in several service sectors including building services design and documentation, project and project delivery management, steel detailing and documentation, foreign aid and environmental project management assignments.
Our Building Services team has wide ranging experience in building services design, auditing, energy and asset evaluation studies, construction and project management support, feasibility studies and CAD services. SKM is particularly well recognised as a consultant for the cost-effective design engineering and documentation. Through our steel detailing group we are able to provide key services to our mining sector clients with specialist design capabilities utilising 3D design software such as ProSteel and SKM Project Gateway.
In the Philippines, SKM is a leading manager of integrated infrastructure and social development projects. The team serves clients such as the Australian Aid Agency (AusAID) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to achieving sustainable development outcomes by managing joint-initiatives such as the Basic Education Assistance for Mindanao (BEAM). Previous assignments within the aid sector include water supply and sanitation projects, climate change, transport infrastructure and rural development schemes.
The Power Energy group work with key clients such as ABOITIZ, Chevron and local government agencies delivering successful project outcomes in the fields of geo thermal generation, hydro, networks planning, power asset reporting and utility evaluations.
