It possesses a comprehensive capability and association with key disaster management organisations in Asia and the Pacific to assist the public and private sector and donor agencies in preparedness, mitigation, reconstruction and recovery activities.
SKM is currently undertaking projects post-tsunami in Aceh, Indonesia for Asian Development Bank on environmental and infrastructure planning and new town development.
