Colin Buchanan has recently completed a three-year continuous evaluation of the value added by The Northern Way’s Transport theme, in collaboration with SQW who carried out an evaluation of the wider initiative.

Colin Buchanan has been commissioned by Trilogy Developments Limited to provide highways and transportation advice for the redevelopment of the former Ford Foundry, south of Leamington Spa town centre.

- Channel Ports - forecasting future use
Colin Buchanan has been appointed by the CAMIS (Channel Arc Manche Integrated Strategy) project partners to work on projecting future flows of passengers and goods passing through all the major ports on both sides of the English Channel (from Medway to Falmouth on the UK side and Dunkerque to Brest on the French side).

- Wales sustainable transport initiative
Colin Buchanan is delighted to be supporting Sustrans and Socialdata to deliver the Welsh Assembly Government's Personalised Travel Planning and associated initiatives programme, to encourage people to walk, cycle and use public transport for more of their local, everyday journeys. Working in partnership with the Local Authorities and Regional Transport Consortia the initiative will reach people in their homes, schools and workplaces.
- Gosport Master Plan
Colin Buchanan have been appointed to prepare a detailed masterplan for three strategic sites within the broader Gosport Waterfront development area as further supporting evidence to their Strategic Masterplan Report tabled to the Council in November 2010.
- Shuweik Master Plan
The Kuwait Municipality has appointed Colin Buchanan and our local partner Al-Shaheen Consultants (ASCO) to develop the Shuwaik Master Plan.
- Valuing Urban Realm
Colin Buchanan has concluded the latest phase of the ‘Valuing Urban Realm’ research programme for Transport for London (TfL) with the launch of a Valuing Urban Realm Toolkit for practitioners.
- Travel plan for Ayr College
Colin Buchanan has been commissioned by Ayr College to produce a Travel Plan for the College. The Plan covers all three college sites, 6,000 students and 400 members of staff and includes the new aeronautical training facility which is to be built at their main campus at Dam Park, Ayr.
